Aims & Scope
The journal has been published since 2015 to further research and study on Asia.
The publication aims to the advancement of learning, anonymity of review, appropriate right to author, non-profitable voluntary service for the cause of the discipline.
- The journal accepts theoretical and empirical work on interdisciplinary studies. It covers Archaeology, Anthropology, Folklore and Culture, Gender Studies, Linguistics, etc. for understanding the societal issues of the grass root level.
- The journal occasionally publishes special issues which mediate on a particular theme. It also publishes research notes, reports, book reviews,etc.
• How the Journal will handle complaints and appeals
The Journal has not received any complained or appeal for any service till date. Every author has a right to complain or appeal for any service to the Editor, Journal of Kolkata Society for Asian Studies by email. The Editor will fulfil the requirement or solve any problem regarding publication procedure.
• How the Journal will handle allegations of research misconduct
The Editorial board is fully responsible for evaluating the reviewed article before accepted for publication. If any allegation is reported by any department of any University the Editorial board will verify the same.
• Journal’s policies on conflicts of interest
The author can declare no potential conflict of interest with respect to the research, authorship and/or publication of the article.
• Journal’s Policies on Data sharing and reproducibility
Journal of Kolkata Society for Asian Studies has no policy for data sharing the copyright of all the papers published in the journal is solely to the Society, Kolkata Society for Asian Studies. If anyone wants to copy or re-print any part of it he/she should take permission from the editorial chief. We can reprint any issue after the sell-out of the copies if required.
